Queso is speculated to have originated in Mexico sometime in the 19th century...

Ingredients
  • 2 cups Raw Cashews (300g)
  • 1 tsp Crushed Garlic
  • 1/2 cup Nutritional Yeast (30g)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Onion Powder
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ cup Canned Chopped Tomato (120ml)
  • 4 Tbsp Sliced Pickled Jalapeños
  • 1 cup Vegetable Stock (240ml)Ingredients

  • Presoak cashews overnight

    Blend ingredients until creamy

    I like to add turmeric whenever possible

    And black pepper, to increase the benefit

    Blend until as creamy as possible

    I garnished with home canned pickled peppers
