Usually, bake at 325, about 45 min; test for doneness. SPICE CAKE Caramel Icing Bring the butter and 1 cup sugar to boil in a saucepan over medium heat for 2 minutes. Add milk and bring back to boil. Remove pan from heat, let cool, stir in the powdered sugar and vanilla, mix until smooth. Frost cooled cake immediately. |
